Brit indie-electronica darlings Friendly Fires (hailing from affluent St Albans) will present the latest chapter in Late Night Tales’ cult compilation series this autumn.
The Fires’ Late Night contribution corals everything from vintage pop (Olivia Newton-John) to rock (Stereolab) to alt-rock (Cocteau Twins) to contemporary electronica (Junior Boys, Bibio, SBTRKT); the band also presents a customary Late Night Tales exclusive, offering their unique cover of Eberhard Schoener and Sting’s Seventies collaboration Why Don’t You Answer?
Late Night Tales: Friendly Fires is released by Late Night Tales on November 5.
