Skrillex and Green Velvet are among the first batch of names confirmed for Chicago’s first ever dance music festival this June.
The Spring Awakening Music Festival will take place June 16-17 at the city’s Soldier Field, featuring Skrillex and Velvet alongside Moby, Afrojack, Ferry Corsten and Laidback Luke. Deeper down, sets are promised from A-Trak, Derrick Carter, Claude VonStroke and Diplo.
The festival, evolving out of Chi-Town’s popular Spring Awakening events at the Congress Theater over the past two years, will announce further names and fringe parties in the coming weeks.
