Following on from one of the summer's biggest House music anthems 'Pushing On' topping the Beatport & Traxsource charts, Oliver $ has been added to the first ever Defected In The House Stage at Global Gathering.
Simon Dunmore said of the addition "Oliver $ has produced the biggest House track of 2014, Pushin On is this summer's anthem. We kept a slot open for a moment like this & it was essential for us to add him to our Global Gathering line up."
Taking place July 25-26 at the Long Marston Airfield in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, Global Gathering – now in its 14th year - will feature The Prodigy, Chase & Status, Katy B on its Main Stage. Elsewhere, The Hangar presents David Guetta (a UK festival exclusive) and Alesso, and a special Radio 1 ‘Essential Mix Live’ space features live ‘back to back’ Essential Mixes from Pete Tong & Eats Everything, Sasha & Nic Fanciulli, Tensnake & Skream, and Paul Woolford & Route 94.
Beyond all that, Defected In The House hosts an aforementioned stage boasting MK, Green Velvet, Guti (live), Noir, Shadow Child, GotSome, Sam Divine and Simon Dunmore; Yousef’s Circus arena includes Maya Jane Coles, Dennis Ferrer, Hot Since 82 and Huxley; Jamie Jones’ Paradise zone offers Dixon, The Martinez Brothers, Richy Ahmed and Russ Yallop; and Hospitality builds a festival party with drum & bass talent such as High Contrast, London Elektricity and Metrik.
That still leaves a number of other stages featuring the likes of Sub Focus, Netsky (live), James Zabiela, Wilkinson, Shy FX, Mistajam, Hannah Wants, David Rodigan and Toddla T.
