Richie Hawtin has confirmed the full week-by-week schedule for his Thursday night ENTER residency at Space this summer.
ENTER now spans all five rooms of the iconic club - ENTER.Sake moving to the Terrace, ENTER.Air switching to the Premier Etage, ENTER.Main and ENTER.Terrace occupying the Discoteca and Terrazza (as before) and ENTER.Mind, a new entity pushing more experimental sounds from the likes of Function and Lee Gamble, hosting Space’s El Salon.
ENTER’s opening party takes place July 4 with Hawtin, as previously announced, playing alongside Paco Osuna, Gaiser, Nina Kraviz, Tale Of Us, Hot Since 82 and Photek. The September 26 closing party, meanwhile, features Hawtin, Osuna, Matador (live), Josh Wink, Maya Jane Coles, Claude VonStroke, Marcel Dettman and John Acquaviva.
In between, revellers can expect appearances from Loco Dice, Catz ‘N Dogz, Maceo Plex and Damian Lazarus (July 11); Magda and James Lavelle (July 18); Lazarus, Disclosure, Tale Of Us and Eats Everything (July 25); Visionquest (the entire team) and Function (August 1); Victor Calderone, Francois K, Laura Jones and Jamie Jones (August 8); Marcel Dettmann back-to-back with Ben Klock, Grimes, and Jane Coles (August 15); Sven Vath, Benoit & Sergio (live), Huxley and Phil ‘Le Carousel’ Kieran (August 22); Plex, Magda and Tom Middleton (August 29); Luciano (versus Hawtin) and Cassy (September 5); Lazarus and Mathew Jonson (September 12); and Loco Dice (with a five-hour set) and Dubfire (September 19).
Hawtin plays each and every week; his nominated residents this season are Osuna (playing five dates), Kraviz and Jane Coles (playing six). Proceedings kick off each Thursday from 8pm when ENTER presents on Ibiza Global Radio, mixing archive recordings with fresh interviews and mixes; ENTER.Sake opens at 9.30pm and then the main ENTER experience thereafter.
“It’s going to be an incredible season!” Hawtin remarked earlier this week. “Taking the next step, this year we have moved things around, rebuilding each room and inviting a deeper selection of artists specifically chosen to create five unique areas with their own musical journey and audio-visual experience.”
