As part of our ongoing Heads Up for Japan fund-raising appeal – which kicks off tonight with a party at Life, East London we are holding an online auction, featuring some truly unique items to help raise money to aid Japan in recovering from the devastation caused by the recent earthquake and subsequent tsunami.

We understand that not everyone will be able to make it to the event, so we have started this auction to open up the fundraising opportunity to our global fans.

Among the many lots on offer, we are very proud to be able to offer an original, one-of-a-kind canvas from Japanese artists Dragon76 & Tadaomi Shibuya.

Japanese artist Dragon76, is an immensely successful painter, specialising in large scale live painting at galleries, music events and alternative spaces worldwide. Born in Shiga, and based in Yokohama, his work frequently appears in all manner of publications, on record sleeves, clothing ranges and in advertising campaigns. This is a unique opportunity to own one of his stunning pieces.

Other lots include the signed gold disc awarded to Simon Dunmore for Ultra Nate’s single ‘Free’ which  went on to sell over 400,000 copies – one of only two in existence –  as well as canvases and merchandise signed by Defected artists, CD and vinyl packs and lots more.

Visit the Defected Ebay page to see all the lots on offer, and please bid generously for this very worthy cause.
