Nu-disco darlings Hercules & Love Affair have confirmed the release of a new long-player this May.
The Feast Of The Broken Heart promises a darker, more intense vibe that the last album, 2011’s Blue Songs. The band’s New York-based ‘chief’ Andy Butler was previously quoted saying he wanted “tough and ragged old-school house productions that sounded almost techno...aggressive.”
Certainly the album, co-produced by Mark Pistel (Grace Jones, The Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy, Meat Beat Manifesto) and Austria’s Ha-Ze Factory involves new guest ‘performers’ such as ex-Czars man John Grant, Belgian singer Gustaph, Rouge Mary and Krystle Warren.
