This Friday 03 July, Hercules & Love Affair make their eagerly anticipated live return to Glitterbox’s new home at Space Ibiza.
The band's two sensational live performances helped define Glitterbox’s debut season last year, making this week’s event one of July’s most eagerly anticipated shows. Joining Hercules & Love Affair will be Aeroplane, Horse Meat Disco, Simon Dunmore, Luke Solomon, and DJ Antz: a truly essential date on your Ibiza party calendar.
If there’s one act that embodies Glitterbox’s spirit, and shares its belief in the transformative power of house music, it’s Hercules & Love Affair. After being instrumental in the success of the party’s debut year in 2014, Hercules’s ringmaster Andy Butler described Glitterbox as “a beautiful foray into creating a party focused on connecting the dots between genre, generations”, a sentiment that has been reflected in the response to the 2015 shows so far.
Expectations for their return couldn’t be higher, as they prepare to take an already standout Ibiza party to new levels of house-and-disco soundtracked hedonism, and with the legendary Space Terrace as the backdrop to their first visit of this season, expect this to be one of the boldest and best live shows on the island this summer.
Taken from Hercules & Love Affair’s third album, Feast of The Broken Heart, Defected signed the acid pop-house masterpiece ‘Do You Feel The Same’. Releasing the album track as a full-length DJ-friendly club mix, and with new mixes, it became the undisputed anthem of Glitterbox’s first season.
Glitterbox began the summer with an opening party that Ibizan media hailed as one of 2015’s best. Described as an event that “unites the tribes” by Essential Ibiza and having “the right recipe for a classic Ibiza party" by Ibiza Voice, if you’re yet to experience the unabashed joy of a Glitterbox party, this Friday is the perfect opportunity to start.
