Brit Grammy-nominated electro-poppers Hot Chip have just given details of a full UK tour during the first half of 2010.
The tour, to promote the band’s fourth studio album (as yet untitled), will kick off February 12, Glasgow O2 Academy, and wrap February 26-27, London O2 Brixton Academy, taking in Edinburgh, Nottingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Norwich en route.
The forthcoming album, said by Hot Chip to be “a bit calmer…more mid-tempo and disco-influenced” follows hugely successful LPs Coming On Strong, The Warning and Made In The Dark.
Said Joe Goddard earlier this year: 'We're kind of stepping things down a bit because we want to make this next album quite simple, gentle, focused.
