Originally pioneered by David Vilo aka D-lo with weekly Sunday party ‘Free Your Soul’ in Soho, House Dance UK invites dancers from all over the city to dance to the soundtrack of anything from hip hop to boogie to house. Now in its fourth year the event has evolved into a competition which needs to be held over two days. The ‘pre-selection’ occurs during the day in Shoreditch at The Light Bar loft space 30th November whilst the ‘Finals’ return to Madame Jojos in Soho where the last eight competitors do battle Sunday night of December 1st.
The judging panel will include last year’s French winner Babson along with both Mitch and Frankie J. In charge of the decks are Holland’s DJ Veusty, Parisian Greg Gauthier from Dance Culture and both Matt L-S and Jamesey from events company and UK record label Makin’ Moves.
