For the next release in the acclaimed House Masters series, we look to start 2012 in the best possible form... with House Masters Murk.

Murk is Oscar G and Ralph Falcon, one of the most celebrated and accomplished production outfits in house music. With close to two decades of experience behind them they have a signature sound; one that is utterly unique and which continues to inspire aspiring and established producers to this day. 

They first met and started working together at the end of high school, blending the sounds of their youth with the beginnings of house, like Ten City and Blaze; and the darker Euro bands of the time, like Depeche Mode and New Order.  The early years bore some of the work for which they’re still best known, tracks such as 'Some Lovin’', 'If You Really Love Someone,' and 'Reach For Me'. Upon their release in 1993, the pair became instant superstars. “Europe kind of grabbed us,” says Oscar, so they spent a good amount of time touring overseas, eventually visiting every major and minor outpost of the global dance scene, including Zouk Singapore, Ministry Of Sound London, and Stereo Montreal.

2011 once again saw Murk as the name on everyone's lips, returning - under their Intruder guise -  with ‘Ameme’, a record that grabbed the attention of every DJ that mattered in Ibiza and has gone on to define the sound of Summer 2011. 

Here, we present 20 of their best-loved tracks and remixes in an unparalleled collection of some of the most enduring and evocative house records ever created, including ‘Dark Beat’, ‘Been A Long Time’, ‘If You Really Love Someone’, ‘Falling From Grace’, Reach for Me' and of course ‘Amame’.
