We are happy to announce that we will be hosting a very special producer workshop this July in partnership with iTunes.
The workshop will be a collaboration between Defected, Apple and Roundhouse Studios, which is the charitable trust based at The Roundhouse. Roundhouse Studios provides access to a range of high quality facilities, expertise and support for young people to develop their creative ideas and skills, particularly within music, performance art and broadcast media.
The workshop will be presented by Copyright, who will present an insight into dance music production in Logic as well as offer the opportunity to talk about their wider music industry experiences with other members of the Defected team.
The presentation will take place from 4pm on Friday 23rd July and places are extremely limited.
As well as the main presentation by Copyright, there will be an opportunity to discuss production and industry experience with Simon Dunmore, Aaron Ross and Andy Daniell as well as other Defected label staff.
The presentation by Copyright will be in Logic, so the workshop is only suitable for people who have at least a basic understanding of the software.
The workshop is free to attend, and tickets will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis. If you are interested in attending, please email greg@defected.com
The House Masters Producer Workshop is presented as part of the iTunes Festival. Defected In The House Live – featuring unmissable singers and DJs – will be performing from 7pm at The Roundhouse on the 23rd of July. Click here for more information.
