Promoters Broken & Uneven have found cult London party The Hydra a permanent home and announced a three-night August Bank Holiday extravaganza.

The Hydra will move in to Wapping’s two-room Studio Spaces from 22 August.  Broken & Uneven have used the east London venue before, but never on a regualr basis.  Their launch event is set to feature Carl Craig, Zomby, A Made Up Sound, Vester Koza and bass heads Livity Sound (who play live), not to mention Gilles Peterson, Matthew Herbert, South African house hero Black Coffee, Mr Tophat & Art Alfie and Mo Kolours.  The event runs 10pm to 7am.

US indie label Ghostly International takes over proceedings on 23 August with a line-up featuring Matthew Dear, Com Truise (live), Mark E and Fort Romeau.  Whilst Robert Hood’s revered M-Plant stable celebrates its 20th anniversary 24 August.  Hood is joined by techno royalty DVS1, Blawan, Luke Slater, Mark Broom, James Ruskin, Pariah, Rodhad, Sigha and Shackleton.

The Bank Holiday mash-up paves the way for a 12-week autumn season at Studio Spaces – full details TBA.  Updates on The Hydra at www.the-hydra.net
