Defected’s Ibiza season officially erupts into life on Saturday 4th June’s Defected In The House at Pacha, Ibiza with Bob Sinclar, Copyright, Simon Dunmore and Shovell on Percussion.
After much hype, anticipation and hard graft, we’re just a few days away from breathing life into our 6th year of residency at Pacha with an opening party that celebrates the very best that Defected has to offer.

Headlining will be Playboy DJ extraordinaire Bob Sinclar. Bob is an exceptional DJ wherever you happen to catch him spin, but a set from Bob at Pacha is something that everyone should witness at least once in their lives. Whipping the always packed dancefloor to a frenzy, his energy and passion is infectious, creating an entirely unique party experience and the perfect way to begin four months of relentless partying.
“The summer is totally hectic and I will be playing every night in a different country, so I will only be in Ibiza for the night.” says Bob Sinclar of the summer season. “I'm an athlete though; I don't drink, don't smoke so I will totally fresh for each party and I will be playing pre-parties every night at Cafe Mambo before Pacha. I plan to create a special DJ set for that event and the vibe will be to play soul, reggae, and all my house classics so that people can have the best time possible.
Supporting Bob on the night will be Simon Dunmore and Copyright, who will be looking to stamp make their mark on the Pacha masses at this early stage.
“We look forward to any party at Pacha” smiles Copyright’s Sam Holt “but with the added spice of it being the Opening party with Bob Sinclar and Simon Dunmore we are getting very excited. In fact we can’t stop pulling out tracks and edits for our sets…I can taste the heirbas on the terrace just thinking about it!
“There are some great records at the moment we’ll almost certainly be dropping; Ray Foxx ‘The Trumpeter’ is going to smash it in the club, and Bob Sinclar’s ‘Far L’amore’ is going to be an anthem this summer. We’ve also got DJ Meme’s ‘Canto Pro Mar’ and our I’m All Yours with Nuwella. I could keep going” he concludes “but I’ll save a few surprises for the set itself…see you there!”

Tong makes a triumphant return to his spiritual home of Pacha with support from friends and familiar faces.

Cadenza Opening Party with Luciano, Reboot, Michael Cleis, Mirko Loco
Last season Luciano silenced his critics after a surprise move to Pacha, so expect him and his Vagabundos to be on fine form again in 2011.
