Earlier in the year we ran a competition to win a trip to the Defected In The House Opening Party, stay at the Defected Villa and party VIP style on the island. The lucky winner was Patricia Raimundo from Portugal, and this is what she had to say about her time on the island.
When I knew I had won this fantastic prize, I just felt like “I’m the luckiest person in the world!!” As a big fan of Defected, spending a weekend with the Defected crew, in the Defected villa in Ibiza, the opening party at Pacha… was like a dream come true. Oh my God, I couldn’t be happier!!!
After endless days waiting, we finally arrived in Ibiza. The weather was amazing and it was my first time there for the beginning of the season. Amazing atmosphere, everyone was there to PARTY!! Simon Dunmore welcomed us in his house in such a friendly way. And the villa is so beautiful. So good to be chilling by the pool, listening House Music, with the Defected family around.

Then, the sun started to go down and, with an amazing Ibiza tan, it was time to go to PARTY!!
The dinner at Café Mambo was so cool. Really enjoyed the sunset and pre-partying before hitting Pacha. This is IBIZA!! Bob Sinclar arrived and played a perfect set for that moment. The last song he played – and he played it in Pacha as well – is called “Selfish Love” and is by a Portuguese DJ, Pedro Cazanova. Cool!!Then, it was time to go to Pacha to dance until dawn!!
The first party of the season had a massive line-up. I knew it was going to be BIG. And it was much more than big, it was HUGE!! Simon Dunmore, Bob Sinclar and Riva Starr played really well!! Simon’s set was my favorite!! It was so busy in there. ‘People were dancing…there was a feeling!!’ The dancers looked amazing and Pacha totally rocked that night!! And…we’ve been there!! I remember telling Simon: “I wish I could stop time and live this moment forever!!”
