“It’s a real buzz working with legends like Inner City, I'm so thankful they collaborated with me on this song. I’ve played it on both my Defected streams and the response has been overwhelming, it felt right that I partnered with them for the release.” Idris Elba
‘’Working with Idris here in our studio at the family home was a true pleasure, we hit it off so well and gelled from the get go. Idris came to us with a great idea so we were already inspired and it flowed nicely after discussing ways to develop the track further. We came in and made some additional adjustments to add that Inner City flavour and brought it all together through a harmonious team effort.’’ Kevin Saunderson
Idris & Kevin Saunderson spoke to MixMag discussing their previous collaboration and touching upon whats to come. The pair's chemsitry is undeniable upon reading the interview, as Idris expresses his excitment about 'No More Looking Back', ''Defected heard it in one of my sets, during streaming. It was originally going to come out on my label 7Wallace but Defected, they have a real knack for this type of record and they’re going to do a real interesting job on how to make this record a classic.''
Keep your eyes peeled across all Defected channels for updates on the release coming early 2021...
