Cult London music marketplace event Independent Label Market is to return to London’s Old Spitalfields Market space on 12 July.
The event, now in its fourth year, promises a rich mix of ‘gems and rarities’ from a diverse and engaging line-up of indie labels including K7!, Brownswood, Electric Minds, Houndstooth, Hospital Records, Hyperdub, Late Night Tales, Moshi Moshi, City Slang, Greco Roman, One Little Indian, Peacefrog, PIAS, Strut, Warp, XL and, of course, Defected.
Supported by AIM – the Association of Independent Music – the event will also see Beggars group founder and Chairman Martin Mills hosting a special Beggars Archive stall. The stall will offer rare and classic cuts from Beggars’ impeccable back catalogue of the past 30 years or so.
All of this runs alongside the London Brewers’ Market, featuring choice ales from some of the capital’s best local brewing houses. Guests can sample a variety of beverages in a designated beer garden complete with DJ and musical entertainment.
