For ATFC, club bangers seem to come very easily, and it seems there’s no break in the chain coming any time soon. This release sees Aydin cover Lil Louis’ ‘I Called U (The Conversation)’, originally released back in 1989 on FFRR, the London Records imprint and A&R’d by none other than, you guessed it, Pete Tong.

So it’s no surprise that for 2009, 20 years on, Pete Tong has jumped on this sax-driven gem with a real vengeance. Three consecutive spins on Pete’s BBC Radio 1 show is a rarity and not to be sneered at! This record is large and features James Knight, the über-talented sax player that recently invigorated Mark Knight & Funkagenda’s ‘The Man With The Red Face’, demonstrates its calibre. OUT MONDAY.
