Famous Tokyo super-club Yellow re-opens later this month after its seismic closure in 2008 to make way for ‘regional development’ plans. Those plans were torn up when global recession hit, the building housing Yellow was sold to new owners, and permission granted for a new club to fill part of its space.

‘eleven’ – the club’s new name - will be run by many of the staff formerly employed by Yellow and has legendary New York DJ and producer Francois Kevorkian flying in for the February 18 ‘Rhythm Of Life’ launch party. Kevorkian, of course, played Yellow’s closing bash.

Argentinian DJ Guti, synonymous with quality German imprint Desolat, plays the following night; Timmy Regisford, David Morales, Danny Krivit and Ken Ishii are all confirmed for parties this spring. Morales flies in February 26.
