Basement Jaxx and David Guetta will play next year’s Ultra Music Festival in Bayfront Park, Miami.

Organisers are returning the event to one single weekend, March 28-30, 2014, this time round.  Guetta features alongside fellow EDM mainstays Avicii and Tiesto, whilst the Jaxx find similarly bass-y mavericks Dizzee Rascal and M.I.A for company.  Elsewhere, party-goers can expect to see hip-hopper Pusha T, Aussie indie-disco fusionists Cut Copy, and eclectic French tech-ster Gesaffelstein.

In terms of underground house and techno regulars, Loco Dice, Carl Cox, Solomun, Luciano, Marco Carola, Hot Creations’ Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Ali Love and Luca C, and Tale Of Us are additionally confirmed.  Ultra’s initial line-up announcement, finally, includes Trentemoller, Paul Kalkbrenner, Cajmere, Claude VonStroke and Pete Tong.

More names will be revealed early next year, as well as an Ultra tour including stops in Japan and South Africa.  This year’s festival occupied two epic weekends but, sadly, earned most headlines for a stage collapse ahead of ‘day one’ which injured four workers – two severely.
