Jeff Mills is to perform at the Glasgow Film Festival in February.
The titan of Detroit techno will headline the Sonic Cineplex event, which will take place at the city's hallowed club venue The Arches.
The club will be turned into an 'audio-visual arthouse multiplex' in which Mills will create a new soundtrack to Fritz Lang's silent film The Woman In The Moon, live.
It's not the first time that Mills has taken on the work of the German director. He famously scored Lang's benchmark 1927 film Metropolis in 2000, and performed the album live at public screenings.
The festival happens at venues across the city from February 14 to 24.
