Julio Bashmore will headline debut arts and music gathering, the Beacons Festival, this August. The event, in the north of England, was due to premiere last year but got cancelled after severe weather.
 
Joining Bashmore is fellow UK house talent Maya Jane Coles, as well as Pearson Sound (AKA Ramadanman), Oneman and underground electronic chanteuse Jessie Ware. There’s also room for Canadian indie-electronic duo Junior Boys, Domino-signed Peaking Lights and singer Patrick Wolf, not to mention food stalls, art exhibits, cultural lectures, progressive poetry and even a Ferris wheel.
