Revered German house DJ-producer Fritz Kalkbrenner will headline this summer’s Melt! festival.
Running July 18-20, the ‘electronic meets rock’ gathering takes place in German city Grafenhainichen – specifically in Ferropolis, an open museum of old, large-scale industrial machines dubbed the ‘city of iron’ (as was the case last year). Kaklbrenner joins Portishead, Royksopp & Robyn, Haim, Metronomy and Moderat, not to mention Ame, Dixon, Mano Le Tough, Marcus Worgull, Recondite, Kim Ann Foxman, Boys Noize, Breach, Brodinski, Tensnake, Tiga, tINI, Omar Souleyman, Dusky, Modeselektor, Jagwar Ma, Gesaffelstein, Chromeo and BPitch Control stalwarts Ellen Allien and Dillon.
