New Jersey house legend Kerri ‘Kaoz’ Chandler will help long-running Newcastle club night Shindig celebrate its 21st anniversary on May 5.
Taking place at regular Shindig haunt Hoults Yard between 1.30pm and 4am the following morning, the party will be split into day and night-time line-ups - Chandler plays during the day alongside Seth Troxler, Maya Jane Coles, Guy Gerber and Davide Squillace; the evening celebrations, at Hoults Yard’s Warehouse 34, features John Digweed, Joris Voorn and resident DJs Neil Bainbridge (a Shindig Director) and Scott Bradford (Shindig’s co-founder).
Shindig began life as a weekly event before changing to a monthly format in 2011. The internationally acclaimed night has attracted some of clubland’s finest underground house talent over the years, including Sasha, Laurent Garnier, MAW, Francois Kevorkian and Danny Tenaglia.
