Berlin’s super slick house-head Phonique – real name Michael Vater – will release a third studio album, Kissing Strangers, this June.
Following acclaimed long-players identification (2004) and Good Idea (2007,) the new record is co-produced by Alex ‘Tigerskin’ Kruger and features Gui Boratto, Kiloo and soul vocalist Georg Levin as contributors.
Phonique runs his own imprint Ladies And Gentlemen, but will be releasing Kissing Strangers via Hamburg stable Dessous, with which he is closely associated. The new 15-track offering promises a rich tapestry of trademark deep house textures.
