Pioneer of Afro House, tastemaker and trailblazing DJ, Kitty Amor launches her imprint Mahaba Music as part of our family of labels. Debuting with one of her own productions ‘Solitude’, which will be released on 17 November, Kitty takes the reigns to demonstrate the sonic intentions for the label.
With the goal to express the global influences of an ever-growing sound within electronic music through Mahaba Music, the newly founded imprint will continue Kitty’s journey of advancing the Afro House sound in the UK and Europe, while profiling both upcoming and established artists from across the globe.
An established broadcaster as well as club DJ, Kitty’s monthly Rinse FM show will showcase Mahaba’s sound on global airwaves on the first Sunday of every month on her newly extended two hour show.

Launching the imprint as a musical space to showcase the sound Kitty has championed throughout her career, ‘Solitude’ comes as an apt first release with its Afro-Tech drum patterns, exquisite synth work and captivating rhythms forming a serene backdrop to the emotive top line. With her desires to make Mahaba Music, “a label that sonically connects the world,” the passionate tastemaker’s debut release is a sign of exciting things to come on this ambitious label.
