Electronic pioneers Kraftwerk have announced an eight-concert residency in LA for next spring.
The residency, at LA’s Walt Disney Concert Hall, follows a similar ‘1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8’ format to residencies earlier this year and last in New York, London and Sydney – the group will play all eight of their studio albums (from Autobahn to Tour de France) over eight shows and four dates. Each date – March 18-21 – features a performance at 7.30-10pm and one at 10pm to 1am; all shows involve 3D video installations.
Kraftwerk have also confirmed special 3D shows in Stockholm (at Cirkus) January 21-24, Mexico City (at El Plaza Condesa), March 13-14, and Oakland, California (Fox Theater), March 23.
