Line-ups have finally been confirmed for Steve Lawler’s returning Ibiza residency VIVa Warriors.
Back at Sankeys Ibiza, but switching from Wednesdays to Sundays, VIVa Warriors will run June 23 to September 29. The opening party features Lawler next to Guti (live) and Darius Syrossian; the closing party sees Lawler and Syrossian return, joined by Sante and Philip Bader. Across the VIVa season there are highlights from Lee Curtiss and Radio Slave (June 30), Robert Dietz (July 7, August 11), Steve Bug (July 28), and Guti again (August 25, September 15). There are also multiple spots for Syrossian, residents Anek and Detlef, and Lawler’s new VIVa Music signings Bader and Sante.
VIVa Warriors, with an edgy, underground nod to cult 1979 movie thriller The Warriors, promises deeply percussive house and techno. It is supported, in Sankeys’ ‘Boutique’ space, by the Depature Furies team, including Randall M, Oliver Drops and Brett Jacobs.
