Waking Ibiza’s sleeping giant, Defected have announced the huge line-ups for their season at Eden, San Antonio. The formidable programme of 20 dates, kicking off on 21st May every Sunday until 1st October, will be headlined by MK, Dennis Ferrer, Derrick Carter, Claptone and Julio Bashmore, plus lots more including Amine Edge & Dance, Sam Divine, Low Steppa, Miguel Campbell, Josh Butler, Franky Rizardo, Sonny Fodera, Jacky, DJ Spen and Karizma.
Joining forces with D-Vine Sounds, Flow, Origins, Jacky & Friends and Frequently Flying, both rooms at Eden will host global DJ superstars and fresh new talent spinning the world’s best house music. The opening party on 21st May will host house heavyweight and hit-maker MK, D-Vine Sounds head Sam Divine, DFTD’s new recruit Jacky and of course Defected boss Simon Dunmore in Room 01. In Room 02 will be local legends Andy Baxter, Jason Bye and Manu Gonzalez to bring the Defected party back in true Ibiza style.
Not only will Defected be taking over Eden, the official pre-party will be held at the world famous Café Mambo, making San Antonio the only place to be every Sunday.
Defected believes that house music brings people together. Clubbing experiences should be enjoyable, affordable and inclusive, so tickets are priced from €25. The result is parties full of great moments, uniting the whole community through incredible music selected by the freshest and most in-demand DJs and producers. Many of the artists appearing have released music on one of Defected’s labels meaning on any given Sunday night, Eden will be bouncing to the music that you came to Ibiza to hear.
The gateway for many visitors’ first Ibiza experience, San Antonio has a fresh, up-for-it crowd who represent the future of dance music culture. Defected’s return signals a new chapter for San Antonio and a reason for focus to return to Ibiza’s most long-loved destination. Eden is Defected’s home for the 2017 season and the ideal spot for an almighty comeback.
