Apple has finally launched its much-anticipated Apple Music service in the UK this week, offering unlimited streaming, Beats Radio and a host of other features.
As well as a streaming service that draws from a catalogue of more than 30 million songs, Apple Music features Beats Radio, with flagship shows from former Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe, along with ex-Hot 97 host Ebro Darden in New York and Julie Adenuga in London.
Ahead of its launch, Apple frequently said that curation would be a real focus for the service, and they seem to have followed through on that promise. In addition to an intelligent For You section based on your favourite artists and what you listen to, Apple have compiled their own playlists based on artist, genre and labels, with Defected and Strictly Rhythm already strongly represented.
