Infamous German festival the Love Parade is set to take place in the city of Duisberg this year, after breaking away from its roots in Berlin.

2007 and 2008's events took place in Essen and then Dortmund, and now Duisberg is expecting somewhere in the region of 1.5 million people descending on the city for the one-day carnival of dance music.

There will be a main stage alongside the floats, boasting sets from big hitters including Tiesto and David Guetta, alongside the likes of Booka Shade, Westbam, ATB, Fedde Le Grand, Boys Noize, M.A.N.D.Y., Pan-Pot, Tiefschwarz and Mathew Jonson.

Elsewhere, 16 floats will tour through the city hosting a wealth of DJing talent from Germany, Holland, Russia and the UK, including stints from Pig & Dan, Mark Knight, Moonbootica, Tom Novy and literally hundreds more.
