Cadenza king Luciano has provided more details on his residency at swish Ibizan resort Ushuaia this summer.
Luciano & Friends will run Tuesdays from June 25 to September 17, featuring a blend of Cadenza label showcases and multi-artist mini festivals. It follows Luciano’s marathon 16-week run at Ushuaia last year.
Luciano is joined by Detroit legend Stacey Pullen and Cadenza regulars Andrea Oliva and Argy for the big opening bash later this month. Subsequent Cadenza-focussed meets, all at the Ushuaia Beach Club, welcome stablemates Valentino Kanzyani, Michel Cleis, and Technasia, as well as guests Josh Wink, Dinky, Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts and Nick Curly.
Luciano’s mini festivals, meanwhile, include a second annual ENTER vs Cadenza battle (complete with Richie Hawtin), as well as spots for Dennis Ferrer’s Objektivity label, Louie Vega’s deeply soulful Elements Of Life brand, and Carl Craig (and his own friends). The final mini-festival will celebrate 10 years of Cadenza. All festival shows begin at the Ushuaia Tower before migrating to the Beach Club and Sky Lounge roof terrace – all until the early hours.
