After 2009's ridiculously original 'Guns Don't Kill People...Lazers Do' Major Lazer are now on the road, and return for a show at London's Village Underground after their sell-out success at Hoxton Bar and Kitchen last year.
A genre-destroying mix of innovations based on a refusal to settle for any one trademark sound, Major Lazer are a bit like a Basement Jaxx album remixed by hyperactive hooligan children. This live set will see them mix the rich dancehall tradition of Jamaica, tweaked soul, Afropop, disco, electro, hip-hop, and 80's-inspired digital pop to create a dance-floor-killing set.
With support from as yet unannounced special guests, tickets are selling out fast, but still available from www.ticketweb.co.uk
