Kompakt king Michael Mayer has announced a series of international tour dates this autumn and winter, covering Europe and Australia.

Mayer, based in Cologne, Germany, has firmly established himself in recent years as an exciting, boundary-breaking techno and electronica DJ-producer. His new new tour, running from October 13 (Cologne) to December 29 (Paris) via Barcelona, Porto, Helsinki, Leeds, Liverpool, Sydney, Melbourne, Frankfurt, Geneva and Copenhagen, supports the release of his new album Mantasy and takes in some of his favourite ever nightspots.

Released October 22, on Kompakt, Mantasy follows 2004 debut album Touch, a record Mayer has publicly uttered his dissatisfaction with on more than one occasion  - Mantasy is in his eyes "the first one". Listeners can expect Mayer's love of soundtrack-style composition to shine through, alongside more experimental rushes of tech 'n' electronic groove.
