German tech pioneer Michael Mayer has announced details of his long awaited second studio album.
Debut long-player Touch was put together in just a handful of weeks, a hurried production process which Mayer feels affected its overall sound. He is therefore looking upon new project Mantasy as his first proper album. Mantasy offers up 10 tracks heavily influenced by Mayer’s current love of soundtracks and filmic music.
Mayer, who runs Kompakt Records, has not released any productions for around five years now, his SuperMayer collaboration alongside Superpitcher being the last. The remix work remains steady however.
Mantasy is scheduled for release on Kompakt on October 22.
