Major German electronic conglomeration Moderat – the union of Apparat (Sascha Ring) and Modeselektor (Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary) – has announced the postponement of their remaining shows for 2013.
Moderat were due to support new album II with a raft of international tour dates throughout autumn and winter but that schedule has now been delayed until 2014 following Ring’s involvement in a serious motorcycle accident last weekend. The accident has left Ring with multiple fractures to one of his legs and unable to travel.
