German deep house sensation Motor City Drum Ensemble, AKA Danilo Plessow, will tour Australia at the end of what has been a fairly major career-building year.
Plessow arrives in Brisbane on December 30 to play Bar Soma alongside local talent including Scott Walker and Charlie Why. He hits Sydney for New Year’s Day (3.30-10am to be precise), joining Scots disco don The Revenge on the Spice Afloat Sunrise Cruise (departing from/returning to The Bella Vista/Star City Wharf); and later, still on January 1, drops by The Bridge on Melbourne’s South Wharf to play Animals Dancing’s shindig.
Plessow has ridden a tidal wave of momentum following the release, earlier this year, of his mix compilation for !K7’s mighty DJ Kicks series. Touring commitments for 2011 have seen him visiting the US, UK, Japan, Brazil and now, of course, Oz….
