The classic remix work of stylish deep house duo Motorcitysoul – Germans Matthias Vogt and Christian ‘C Rock’ Rindermann – has been collected and lovingly arranged onto a single-disc album due out on Stir15 Recordings in May (date TBA).

Selected Remixes 2004-2010 features a wide range of Motorcitysoul re-rubs, everything from their mellow take on Tiger Stripes’ Beach Buggy to the pair’s smart, tech-driven update of Ed Davenport’s Evespeak; other remixes for M.V.I.P, A:xus and Kruse & Nurnberg cover a number of deep, soulful and dubby-disco moods.

Motorcitysoul formed in 2004 – Vogt and Rindermann have released beats via labels such as Rebirth, Simple and Ibadan, as well as four albums (two compilations). Their extensive remix back catalogue also includes commissions for Chez Damier and Loco Dice & Ricardo Villalobos.
