Recent fabric mix helmsman Move D will headline this year’s cult Freerotation festival in Wales.
Running July 11-13 at Baskerville Hall close to Hay-on-Wye, the annual gathering is an immersive reflection of Wales’ burgeoning house scene and widening reach within global clubland. Run by local dance grandees Steevio and SuzyBee, Freerotation promises Move D (a regular) this summer alongside the similarly familiar likes of Tama Sumo, Juju & Jordash, Shackleton, XDB, Tom Demac, Leif, Soulphiction, Sven Weisemann, Lakuti, Portable, October, Ben UFO, Pearson Sound and Pangaea.
Elsewhere, however, there are newcomers. Midland, Objekt, Trade (AKA Blawan and Surgeon) and Karenn (AKA Blawan with Pariah) play for the first time; there are also slots for Voices From The Lake (featuring Neel and Donato Dozzy), DeepChord, Joey Anderson, Burnt Friedman, Jus-Ed, Jenifa Mayanja, Conforce, DJ Bone, Inigo Kennedy, Gifted & Blessed and Livity Sound.
Further names will be added in the coming weeks. More details at www.freerotation.com
