Movement Torino, the Euro splinter of Detroit’s world renowned festival of the same name, has confirmed line-up details for this year’s programme, running October 24 to November 3.

Torino’s eighth annual Movement instalment will kick-off with the eclectic jazz-flecked dance of Bugge Wesseltoft and Henrik Schwarz on October 24, before Dan Ghenacia plays October 25 and Circo Loco gathers System Of Survival, Matthias Tanzmann and The Martinez Brothers at the Italian city’s Lumiq Studios for a special party, October 26.

Laurent Garnier goes back-to-back with Agoria on October 27, and Visionquest headline a special four-stage concert at Torino’s Lingotto Fiere pavilion on October 31; other guests here include Magda, Joy Orbison, Dixon, Ben Klock, Mathew Jonson and Blawan (Visionquest actually get their own special stage).  Berghain’s Klock returns the following evening, November 1, alongside DVS1, and Derrick May and Terrence Parker commandeer the Audiodrome on November 2.

As tradition dictates, Movement Torino takes place in a number of venues across the city and hosts a ‘grand finale’ on the last evening, for which details are still to be announced.  The event’s daytime schedule includes the usual talks, workshops, demonstrations and exhibitions.  Further programme details are expected to be announced in the coming days at www.movement.it/.
