Infamous North Italian Club Moxa are now onto their 5th of a series of eight London parties this summer, with the next taking place Saturday 11th August. So far their events at Corsica Studios have been very well received and have seen such names as Metro Area, Kenny Dope, Argy, and Luke Solomon grace the turntables as their guests.
The 5th party sees Club Moxa collaborate with London’s newest deep house promotion team Makin’ Moves, fresh after their much taked about launch party for a special event at a secret Shoreditch London warehouse with Lil Louis headlining.
Lil’ Louis, made his name as one of the most popular Chicago house producers during the late '80s thanks to his massive club hit "French Kiss". Son of guitarist Bobby Sims, he grew up with nine siblings and played both drums and bass as a child, then began DJing in the mid '70s. Artist, producer, songwriter, DJ, author and director, Lil Louis is credited to be the Founding Father of House Music.
Also joining Lil Louis, are the Makin’ Moves residents Jamesey and Matt L-S for this special event, along with a very credible line up of DJs from London’s house music scene including Rap Saunders, Edward Dikgale and Fran Ronan.
It all takes place at Secret Shoreditch Location (details to be sent out week before the event). Early bird £10 tickets are available from www.ticketweb.co.uk
