Celebrated Frenchman Laurent Garnier has confirmed a brand new series of EPs for 2014 under a new alias, Garnier.
The first release, AF 0490, is named after an Air France flight between Paris and Chicago and features three licks – Bang, Boom, Beat – driven by memories of vintage mid Eighties ‘Windy City’ house. AF 0490 EP will be released via Still Music, Garnier having hooked up with Still director Jerome Derradii previously whilst DJing at Chicago’s infamous Smart Bar. His last outing was a Jacques In The Box remix package for Ed Banger Records/Because Music last year.
Subsequent EPs will appear on other labels, TBA. AF 0490 EP is released by Still Music (US) on February 11, 2014.
