Young twentysomething talent Nicolas Jaar – a teenage signee to Wolf + Lamb no less – has confirmed that he will tour the States, Brazil, Mexico and Europe over the winter months.
Jaar has risen dramatically to prominence over the past two years thanks largely to acclaimed debut album Space Is Only Noise, an eclectic slice of electronic dance amplified by performances all over the world.
Jaar extends that global run, commencing his new tour at Wolf + Lamb’s Miami hangout Electric Pickle on November 24 before stopping November 25 (Chicago), November 26 (San Francisco), December 9 (Sao Paulo, Brazil), December 10 (Praia Brava, Brazil – the Warung Beach Club, alongside Sasha), December 31 (Mexico), January 7 (Mexico), January 15 (Amsterdam), January 17 (Hamburg), January 19 (Munich), January 20 (Lyon, France), January 21 (Lyon), January 22 (Paris) and January 26 (Rome, Italy).
Meanwhile, Jaar has released a new EP, for free, through the website of his Clown & Sunset label – the EP, Don’t Break My Love, will evolve over the coming months into a full-fledged compilation; downloading it will give fans access to information on a further (low-key) Jaar gig in New York.
