Noir has been a respected name on the international DJ/production circuit since his massive 2005 hit ‘All About House Music’ pushed him firmly into the limelight but the unrivalled success of his label Noir Music has been more recent, and 2012’s full-out assault on the dance charts has seen Noir Music captivate a new audience of young dance Fans, mesmerised by the label’s consistently brilliant output spanning melodic house and techno cuts.
Noir Music Essentials Vol 4. is exactly that, an essential collection comprising 20 of the label’s biggest cuts from the past year. This includes unforgettable Beatport number 1’s with ‘Finnebassen – Touching Me’ and ‘Larse – So Long’ and two huge Beatport top ten hits from Hot Since 82 and Superhero. The remaining 16 tracks all appeared in the Beatport top 20 – quite an accolade for any label.
