Underground house specialist Levon Vincent has been confirmed to play this year’s Nuits Sonores festival, June 1-5.
The French event, promoting a rich and varied mix of club, indie and leftfield sounds, is now in its ninth year, taking place across a number of venues in Lyon (including Marché Gare and L’Ambassade) as well as incorporating a special event (June 4) at Paris’ Rex Club with dOp and Dyed Soundorom.
Vincent, based in New York these days, is part of a line-up also boasting Luciano, Matthew Dear, Laurent Garnier (a Nuit Sonores regular), DJ Shadow, Ben UFO, Shackleton, indie surf-rockers Battles and Detroit pioneer Kyle Hall. The festival closes with an orchestral performance by Chilly Gonzales.
