Soho Blues Bar that’s as close to a Southern juke joint as one is likely to find on this side of the Atlantic. An absolute gem on the edge of Soho which has a constant queue outside, so make sure you get there early.

One of the only bars in Clapham with a decent music policy. Catch resident DJs spinning house and techno Tuesday to Sunday while sipping a cocktails from their impressively wide range.  We hear that the Thursday and Saturday night resident is alright.

Centrally located and popular with post-work drinkers. The ‘Latin Street Food’ menu comes highly recommended and there are regular DJs for those with more on their mind than relaxing in one of the welcoming, wood-panelled booths.

A great cross section of people makes Lounge Lover one of the most interesting bars in London. The service is charming and unobtrusive and the drinks are superb.

Very friendly bar where the employees dressed in authentic vintage right down to hairstyles. Jazz and blues music policy with the live stuff usually kicking off about 9pm.

This place holds perhaps the most unassuming entrance in London, access is through the foyer of a converted Georgian townhouse. Downstairs has a rough and ready vibe - perfect for drowning sorrows and catching up away from prying eyes.
