Sunday Roast
There’s no way we can pick out a single place, but a Sunday Roast at one of the London’s many thousand pubs is a time honoured tradition among weary clubbers, groups of mates and families alike. Essential nosh.Traditional Sunday Roast
Jellied Eels
A true Cockney tradition. As the name suggests, jellied eels are stewed eels in a spiced jelly that is made from the stewing juices and can be bought from street vendors throughout London. Lip-smackingly good!
M Manze
Established in 1902 and still going strong, this is London’s oldest pie and mash shop, with branches in pearly-king Peckham and suburban Sutton. A true London institution – make sure you order extra liquor.

Saigon Saigon
Serving West London's most Authentic Vietnamese food, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and the decor is dark and decadent. Also a small bar/club downstairs. We recommend the Vietnamese spring rolls, beef in betel leaves and a lotus root salad and shrimps.

A café-restaurant in the grand European tradition located in St James’ on London’s most famous of boulevards, Piccadilly.

A Thai restaurant and bar with an excellent view overlooking the Thames. The food is of the highest quality and the cocktails and shooters are the best this side of town. We recommend the slippery nipple shots and lychee cocktails.

A laid back and hospitable restaurant that serves authentic Ethiopian dishes served at traditional low tables with low, carved wooden seats to facilitate eating with your hands. There is also a bar downstairs.

The Bagel Shop
A Brick Lane institution that never closes, feeding hungry revellers through the night to the early hours. Renowned for their salt beef bagel, this is one place there is simply no excuse for missing.

Fish & Chips
A Defected staff favourite and the scene of many a lunchtime discussion on the future of House music over battered cod, chips, mushy peas and gravy sauce. Class!

The London outpost of Nobu opened in 1997. Exquisite Japanese cuisine with signature dishes like Yellowtail with Jalapeno and Black Cod with Miso.

A modern Cantonese menu, Hakkasan’s interior looks like a restaurant version of the sexiest nightclub you’ve ever been to. Amazing cocktails and resident DJs perfect compliment the sumptuous food.

Bread, wine and meat; don’t come here if you want anything different! With duck hearts and pigs trotters among the stable plates, this iconic restaurant is for carnivores only.
