German techno hero (and actor) will release a new album, his ninth, next month.

Guten Tag, featuring 17 tracks, promises more of Kalkbrenner’s hugely popular melodic tech and house sounds.  The album is released by Paul Kalkbrenner Music - formed in 2011 - and follows last album Icke Wieder, released in the same year.

Kalkbrenner’s first album, Superimpose, arrived way back in 2001 but it was in 2008 when the artist really hit his stride, appearing in German tragi-comic movie Berlin Calling (about a fictional star DJ institutionalised for drug use) and recording its eponymous soundtrack (for Bpitch Control).  Since then, he has developed his own imprint and played a number of higher-scale events around the globe.

Guten Tag is released by Paul Kalkbrenner Music on November 30.
