Silk smoking jacket and monogrammed slippers at the ready! The Playboy Playmates have arrived in Vegas, the place is swarming with sexy Bunnies, and it’s time to party along to a package of probably – no, absolutely – the sexiest dance music since disco was invented.

It’s all about the glamour, the bunny girls and the Rabbit Head logo; the ultimately iconic emblem. Just mentioning the names conjures up images of sexy opulent surroundings and retro chic. It’s hard not to love Playboy. In fact the fascination with the brand is relentless and Playboy is more popular than ever. It seems that even as it celebrates its 50th year we just get enough of the world’s sexiest brand.

It goes without saying that Playboy needs a soundtrack to bring it to life and this is the album to provide it. The new Playboy Sessions series is an upbeat mix of seductive vocals and intoxicating dance tracks that will set the mood for any playful party.

The inspiration for the mix comes from Las Vegas, the original ‘Sin City’ and the ultimate hedonistic party destination in the heart of which you’ll find a spectacular monument to Playboy in the form of the Playboy Hotel and Club-Casino located on the 52nd floor of the Palms' Fantasy Tower. The tower has a huge neon playboy bunny on the side for the whole of Las Vegas to see, and it is here and here alone that you will find the beautiful Playboy dealers who act as croupiers and cocktail waitresses, wearing specially designed bunny costumes by Roberto Cavalli.

This new album Playboy Sessions – Las Vegas is a reflection of what you would hear at the club and soundtracks to this opulent lifestyle. The CDs are split into a two distinctively different mixes; the first mix slows down the pace and brings in cool poolside grooves and a more relaxed tone with tracks from nu disco king Tensnake, Sandy Rivera, Louie Vega and Jean Jaques Smoothie with a fresh re-working of the classic ‘2 People’.

The second mix is faster-paced and reflects the vibe of the now legendary Playboy club & casino with peak time nocturnal grooves from the Shapeshifters, ATFC and Chocolate Puma. It also includes the forthcoming summer anthem from Dirty South ‘Phazing’ and  Gramaphonedzie’s cross-over hit ‘Why Don’t You’.

This album perfectly encapsulates the flavour of a big night out in Vegas, courtesy of Playboy.
