Resident Advisor has revealed its Top 100 DJs of 2011 list, as voted for by the online magazine’s readers.
After a tremendous year – both individually and alongside Lee Foss, steering the Hot Creations ship in all the right directions – Jamie Jones topped the list, moving up four places from his 2010 #5 spot.
Seth Troxler sneaked in at #2, meaning that for the first time in years, the top two spaces were not occupied by Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin who came in at #3 and #4 respectively.
Other notable inclusions are Maceo Plex at #5 and Maya Jane Coles at #9, both of whom were nowhere to be seen on the 2010 poll, their meteoric rise in this year’s poll indicative of the exceptional year’s that both have enjoyed.
