International techno collective and record label Sandwell District – spanning everywhere from New York and LA to Berlin and Birmingham – are set to release their debut studio album later this month.

The Sandwell crew – Dave Sumner as Function, Karl O’Connor as Regis and Juan Mendez as Silent Servant - has enjoyed a meteoric rise in techno circles over the past couple of years, regularly pushing their grand, sweeping DJ sets and super-pure productions such as Isolation, Anticipation and Violencia.

The new album, Feed-Forward, features nine previously unreleased techno cuts by the three central Sandwell artists, with additional input from Female. A trademark, highly effective array of big industrial beats, off-kilter riffs and icy strings can be expected; Feed-Forward is released on CD and triple-vinyl shortly.
